The Char Dham of India tour comes in a package of 16D/ 15N begins from Delhi and ends in Mumbai. Destinations included in this tour are Delhi, Rishikesh , Devprayag, Joshimath, Badrinath, Rudraprayag, Haridwar, Bhubaneshwar, Jagannath Puri, Chennai, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Dwarka, Rajkot and Mumbai.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi - Rishikesh (224 kms/ 6 hrs approx)

We begin our tour from Delhi. From Delhi, drive down to Haridwar. Reach Rishikesh which is regarded as the gateway to the Char Dham pilgrimage tour. Get transferred to the hotel and check in. Visit the many Hindu temples along the banks of river Ganga. On the other side of Ganga, lies a temple dedicated to Lakshman in Tapovan. There are also the Swargashram and the Geeta Bhavan temples in the vicinity. Other attractions are the Lakshman Jhula and the Ram Jhula. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Rishikesh - Joshimath (243 kms/ 9 hrs approx)

Leave for Joshimath in the morning via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag and Nandprayag, visiting the intersection of the two famous rivers. Drive on towards Joshimath through Chamoli and Pipalkoti. Reach Joshimath and check into your pre booked hotel. Visit Adi Guru Shankaracharya seat and the Narshimha temple. Visit the famous winter hill resort for skiing, Auli by the cable car (at your own expense). Spend the night in Joshimath hotel.

Day 3: Joshimath - Badrinath (31 kms approx)

This morning, proceed to Badrinath, a major pilgrim site. Reach Badrinath and check into the hotel. Attend the Arti and take the Darshan in the temple. You can also see the river Alaknanda flowing beside the temple. Tapt Kund, a hot water spring lies facing the temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Badrinath - Rudraprayag (160 kms/ 6 hrs approx)

Leave for Rudraprayag in the morning. Reach there and check into your pre booked hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Rudraprayag - Haridwar (170 kms/ 5 hrs approx)

This day, leave for Haridwar from Rudraprayag. In the evening, we visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti in and then back to the hotel for the night stay. You can also visit Har Ki Pauri, Chandi Devi, Mansa Devi, Kavand Mela, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Sapt Rishi, and Maya Devi.

Day 6: Haridwar - Delhi (222 kms/ 6 hrs approx)

Continue towards Delhi. Reach Delhi and check into the hotel. Relax and indulge in leisure activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Delhi - Bhubaneshwar - (56 kms/ 1.5 hrs approx) - Puri

Get transferred to the airport and catch your flight for Bhubaneshwar. Head towards Puri from Bhubaneshwar. On the way, visit the Sun Temple at Konark. Night stay in Puri.

Day 8: Puri (Visit to Jagannath Puri)

 Visit the Jagannath Temple in Puri in the morning.  Return to the hotel and relax. Stay the night over in Puri.

Day 9: Puri - Bhubaneshwar - Chennai

Head back to Bhubaneshwar in the morning and catch your flight to Chennai. Meet our representatives and get transferred to the hotel. Check in and stay the night over in the hotel.

Day 10: Chennai - Madurai - Rameshwaram (167 kms/ 4 hrs approx)

Board your flight to Madurai this day from the Chennai airport. Arrive at Madurai and drive down to Rameshwaram. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 11: Rameshwaram

Spend your whole day sightseeing around Rameshwaram, which is an island cut off from mainland India. The water of the Agnitheertham is considered holy as Lord Ram had cleansed himself here by worshipping Lord Shiva after killing the demon Ravana. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Rameshwaram - Madurai - Mumbai

Drive back to Madurai and catch your flight to Mumbai. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai.

Day 13: Mumbai - Rajkot

Catch your flight to Rajkot from the Mumbai airport and spend the night there.

Day 14: Rajkot - Dwarka (238 kms/ 5 hrs approx)

Drive down to Dwarka this morning. Check into the hotel and go around sightseeing the city in the afternoon. The main tourist hotspot here is the Dwarkadhish Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 15: Dwarka - Rajkot - Mumbai

Head back towards Rajkot after breakfast. Fly to Mumbai and stay the night there.

Day 16: Mumbai

Catch your return flight back home from the Mumbai International airport. Tour terminates here.
