Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

The Kailash – Mansarovar Yatra by foot tour package comes in duration of 18D/ 17N, starting and ending in Delhi. The places that we cover are: Delhi, Kathmandu, Kodari, Nyalam, Saga, Paryang, Mansarovar, Derapuk, Zutulphuk, Darchen, and Airalung Zangpo.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi - Kathmandu

Departure from Delhi to Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu

We will receive you at the Kathmandu Airport on your arrival. We will then check you into the Hotel on full board basis.

Day 03: Kathmandu

Our destination for the third day is sightseeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath and Bhudhanikantha Darshan.

Day 04: Kathmandu to Kodari

Early morning, we drive from Kathmandu to Kodari and visit 138 feet tall Lord Shiva Statue. Night halt at Kodari.

Day 05: Kodari Nyalam

From Kodari, we leave for Nyalam across Friendship Bridge. We go through the immigration and stay overnight in Nyalam at a guest house/camp.

Day 06: Nyalam

The day begins with breakfast at the Guest House and then hiking or soft trekking for 3 hours to acclimatize to the surroundings. Later in the evening, we attend the Satsang and the Bhajan at Guest House followed by dinner and then, overnight stay.

Day 07: Nyalam Saga

 We leave from Nyalam for Saga, where we arrive in the afternoon and have lunch. We stay the night over at the Guest House/ Camp.

Day 08: Saga - Paryang

 From Saga, after having breakfast, we take the road to Paryang which is a 225 km (approx) drive across the vast Tibetan Plateau. Lunch will be served on the way to Paryang. We spend the night over at a lodge.

Day 09: Paryang - Lake Manasarovar

At Paryang, we will be visiting the great Lake Mansarovar. The first sight of the Holy Manas and the Darshan of Mt. Kailash from Horrchu Pass is considered to be very auspicious for all yatris. A camp is held on the shore of Lake Mansarovar for sleep over.

Day 10: Lake Mansarovar

It is said that to reach the abode of God is an achievement of a lifetime. Here, you can do your Puja, Havana worship, meditation, bath, Tarpan etc. You may also relax and explore around the Lake Mansarovar. From here, we drive to Darchen and stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Parikarma/ Kora (Derapuk Gompa)

From here, Parikarma/ Kora begin and we drive 8 kms (approx) to Tarboche and then, trek up to Derapuk Gompa. Packed lunch will be served on the journey and dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 12: Parikarma/ Kora (Zutulphuk Gompa)

The trek to Zutulphuk Gompa in Parikarma continues.  This is the most difficult and challenging part of the journey that the pilgrims undertake. Further, we trek up to Dolma La Pass which is 5600 m (approx). There is a short stop to offer prayers at Dolma La and we move forward towards Gaurikund. Lunch is served on the way and dinner at the camp, Zutulphuk Gompa followed by overnight stay.

Day 13: Zutulphuk - Darchen Hore

After breakfast at Zuthulphuk Gompa, we will again trek up to our waiting jeeps to be driven to Darchen Hore, where Parikarma ends. Post lunch, we will drive to Airalung Zangpo at the Shore of Manas.

Day 14: Airalung Zangpo - Saga

We’ll drive back to Saga following the same route in reverse. The same procedure is going to be followed for all meals and accommodations as provided before.

Day 15: Saga - Nyalam

Drive back to the Nyalam lodge.

Day 16: Nyalam - Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 17: Kathmandu

You have the entire day to yourself. You can indulge in leisure activities and go shopping.

Day 18: Kathmandu - Delhi

You will be escorted to the airport for departure. Tour terminates here.
